Holly:::Senior Session

Back in August I had the chance to take my amazing friend Holly's senior photos! Let me tell ya, she's a natural!!!! She swore she wasn't photogenic, but that is a complete lie! I couldn't even decide what photos to choose, hence the excessive amount on here haha. :] She is such a strong woman of God and boy can you see it in her life and through her dancing! It's so wonderful having a friend like her. Holly wants to go into the medical field, how awesome and intense. She's going to do great.

I've danced with Holly for a good 3 years at my studio and have loved getting to know this girl. Although we aren't done with her senior pictures completely yet (she's going to take a trip to Chicago and see me to take more) this photos are awesome! I had SO much fun with her and her mom it was ridiculous. Holly had me go in some places I hadn't gone yet, and even on train tracks OVER the river! SCARY!

Despite the crazy climbing to get to some of the locations, she was AMAZING and we had an absolute blast! I'm extremely excited to finish her session in Chicago! AHHH!

Nashville:::Sarah Barlow:::Internship

June 15-22 I was blessed with the opportunity to join the wonderful Sarah Barlow in Nashville for her infamous internship. I was one of two interns, what luck huh? Perfect for one on one time in learning. While I was gone I learned more than I had even imagined and had way to much fun for an internship. The first night we went to an awesome restaurant called BurgerUp, where everything is locally grown and they even make their own ketchup. How crazy is that?!? To say the least the food was delicious!

The 2nd day was the real 1st day of the internship and we dove right into it. The day started off with a work out, 7:30 A.M wake up call, and getting started by 9. The first day I said to myself "Is she crazy?!?!" ha ha ha. Day two rolls around and Ashley, the other intern was sick. Instead of doing our scheduled bio shoot, Sarah and I let Ashley get some rest while we hit up a local coffee shop to buckle down on my blog. While this was going on Nashville decided to start flash flooding for about 10 minutes. It was a bit insane. Later that day Sarah, her friends, and I all went cliff jumping!! What an intense experience. Although is took me a while to actually jump, I did pretty well.

A few days passed, including a photoshoot with the one and only Sinead Burgess that you saw a few posts ago, my first time eating legit sushi, show hopping which included a show by The Bridges, who are AMAZING! Our Bio shoot, and Ashley's Chicken Waffles. By now, I've already fallen in love with Nashville and don't even want to think about leaving. We've talked about so much about our businesses that I cannot wait to get home and start :]

Anyway, the people. The people were absolutely amazing and friendly. I couldn't believe how wonderfully nice everyone was, again, another reason to stay in Nashville.

Ashley is this crazy outgoing woman who is totally ready to take on the photography world. She did awesome at the internship. The photoshoot were among the first few of her career. How exciting to have Sarah there to shape your beginning? Also, she's such a trooper making it through being sick on the 2nd day! She's still made it through none the less. Did I mention she makes a mean Chicken waffle meal? yes, weird combo was definitely worth trying. By the end of the week neither Ashley or I wanted to leave. We agreed on moving into Sarah's place while she was gone. :P HAHA I love you Ashley, one day, one day, it WILL happen. Make sure you check out her blog!!!! HERE

Sarah is one of the most accomplished photographers I know. She built her business from scratch and is self taught by all the people around her. She's one of the most amazing women of God I know to this day, and also one of the sweetest. It's definitely been a blast learning and growing as both a business and a person. She's absolutely insane for taking all the interns she has had within the years. Thanks so much for the experience of a lifetime and all the non stop fun! Her blog HERE

BTW we made an insane video that is still being edited by Sarah. I'm pretty excited about it. :]

Oh, and Nashville has some of the most beautiful sunsets I have EVER seen!

Kayla:::Senior Session

A few days ago I had the honor of being Kayla's personal photographer :P I don't think she's ever done a photoshoot before but boy was she a NATURAL! She's absolutely gorgeous!!!! Her cousin Abby has been a friend of mine since 1st grade and was Kayla's hair and make up stylist. She was pampered from head to toe! She even went "shopping" in Abby's closet for clothes to wear for the day. I swear Kayla has a mega contagious smile and she couldn't contain herself. Everything made her laugh! I couldn't help but enjoy the shoot as she kept us all entertained with that personality. Kayla wants to be a broadcast journalist! How fun would that job be? She's definitely ready to take on the world.

Leo & Allie:::Couple:::Nashville

Leo and Allie graciously agreed to be our couple for the internship shoot. A few days before our original couple fell though and they stepped in to save the day! Ironically Leo is from Acapulco, Mexico. He and Allie met at the resort he used to work at. The irony of it though is the resort Leo worked at is the same resort I stayed in a year ago during spring break. He even knew who my tour guide was!!! How crazy right? I still can't believe how small the world really is. Anyway, Allie's sister Amy came along for the ride and we took a few of them as well. All three of them were insanely sweet and fought through the horrible heat that day. Thankfully we were able to get down to business and get done in about an hour. Such troopers HA

Sinead Burgess

I recently went on an Internship in Nashville with Sarah Barlow. Sinead was the model for one of our shoots. The first day in Nashville we all went out to eat and walks in spunky Australian Sinead. Instanly I knew she would be easy to get along with. She just finished her first album and will be heading back home soon to teach her band the new music. She's going to hit it big no doubt with her phenomenal voice in Australia and hopefully the U.S. She was so fun and easy to work with. We pretty much laughed the whole time! I cannot wait to get my hands on her music and spread the music love. She's going places I tell ya! Below is the aftermath of the beautiful and talented Sinead.
