City Love

I was blessed with the chance to go to the city with my art appreciation class and many other classes this week. We went to the Art Institute Museum. Of course I visited the modern wing, it's the only wing I haven't seen yet. Some of the art was extremely hard to understand, but others, and the story they were trying to portray, amazing. I was touched by a few pieces, and artists.

One I found, I didn't read the explanation, but it was neat.
This image was projected on a wall from above, and there is a hole in the wall with a camera on it. It would sense and see you as you walked in front of the web, the web would then react as if a bug was in it, but it was you.
the web read, "being not truthful works against me."
Then of course, after I finished up in the modern wing I took off into the city.
I took tonsss of pictures! :]
I can't wait to be here next year, it's such a great place to be and there is always something going on.

I love this city, it has so much to offer. :]
enjoy!

warmly,
kristin.
