Nashville:::Sarah Barlow:::Internship

June 15-22 I was blessed with the opportunity to join the wonderful Sarah Barlow in Nashville for her infamous internship. I was one of two interns, what luck huh? Perfect for one on one time in learning. While I was gone I learned more than I had even imagined and had way to much fun for an internship. The first night we went to an awesome restaurant called BurgerUp, where everything is locally grown and they even make their own ketchup. How crazy is that?!? To say the least the food was delicious!

The 2nd day was the real 1st day of the internship and we dove right into it. The day started off with a work out, 7:30 A.M wake up call, and getting started by 9. The first day I said to myself "Is she crazy?!?!" ha ha ha. Day two rolls around and Ashley, the other intern was sick. Instead of doing our scheduled bio shoot, Sarah and I let Ashley get some rest while we hit up a local coffee shop to buckle down on my blog. While this was going on Nashville decided to start flash flooding for about 10 minutes. It was a bit insane. Later that day Sarah, her friends, and I all went cliff jumping!! What an intense experience. Although is took me a while to actually jump, I did pretty well.

A few days passed, including a photoshoot with the one and only Sinead Burgess that you saw a few posts ago, my first time eating legit sushi, show hopping which included a show by The Bridges, who are AMAZING! Our Bio shoot, and Ashley's Chicken Waffles. By now, I've already fallen in love with Nashville and don't even want to think about leaving. We've talked about so much about our businesses that I cannot wait to get home and start :]

Anyway, the people. The people were absolutely amazing and friendly. I couldn't believe how wonderfully nice everyone was, again, another reason to stay in Nashville.

Ashley is this crazy outgoing woman who is totally ready to take on the photography world. She did awesome at the internship. The photoshoot were among the first few of her career. How exciting to have Sarah there to shape your beginning? Also, she's such a trooper making it through being sick on the 2nd day! She's still made it through none the less. Did I mention she makes a mean Chicken waffle meal? yes, weird combo was definitely worth trying. By the end of the week neither Ashley or I wanted to leave. We agreed on moving into Sarah's place while she was gone. :P HAHA I love you Ashley, one day, one day, it WILL happen. Make sure you check out her blog!!!! HERE

Sarah is one of the most accomplished photographers I know. She built her business from scratch and is self taught by all the people around her. She's one of the most amazing women of God I know to this day, and also one of the sweetest. It's definitely been a blast learning and growing as both a business and a person. She's absolutely insane for taking all the interns she has had within the years. Thanks so much for the experience of a lifetime and all the non stop fun! Her blog HERE

BTW we made an insane video that is still being edited by Sarah. I'm pretty excited about it. :]

Oh, and Nashville has some of the most beautiful sunsets I have EVER seen!
